I have built a hovercraft for the science fair. I am using a leaf blower to get lift and another one to propel and steer it. I am wondering how I should position the leaf blower on the back of the hovercraft. Should it be level, to the sky, or towards the ground for the best speed. You can also suggest other ways that i could propel and steer the hovercraft.

Please don't laugh at me - a new homeowner trying to buy what do you use a leaf blower for?
some additional clarification: i know it's to blow leaves, but where to? you just blow them from one place to another? how does it help you put the leaves into a bag or something? thanks

A neighbor has given me his leaf blower that was locked up for a while. When I took it apart I found a broken ring and scored piston with scratched cylinder. I could put it together and use it as blower, but I want to see if you could give me any ideas for use of that tiny engine.

I'm having trouble starting my gas leaf blower. I lost the manual and i see that there is a choke and blow speed and I know that there is a certain method to starting it. I just can't figure it out!
Thanks
